Uh, yes, I know that. That's why you can see some tyre physics and so on, in this vid. But instead of making a traditional slowmo vid showing only tyre physics etc, I decided to put some eye candy in there too. Maybe that was a mistake.

Edit: Btw, bad fps? O.o I recorded at 50 fps, rendered it with that also but I think youtube decreases the fps to 20-something? It shouldn't be any problems with the fps.

I had this problem too, and for me it was the codec's fault. I changed codec and it worked fine after that.

Heh, I got a few projects running at the same time so I do get a lot of movies done that way. Although, lately I haven't been making videos like this, instead I've been trying to learn after effects and do something else than I usually do. I guess you have to evolve that way too to keep up with the rest of the movie makers out there. Take a look at Unokevas or Lynce's movies and compare those to mine, and you'll get the point.

Ye, thanks. I'll take back what I said though, I'm not entirely happy with the results. I can't figure out how to do a good looking headlight effect. As it is now I'm using a lens flare and change every key frame so it follows the headlights on the car, but as you guys can see it's a bit.. iffy, as someone said before.

When I'm not on LFS, I'm on BF2 (or the mod, Project Reality), Company of Heroes (Opposing Fronts), Starcraft Brood war, or uh.. GTR2. -.-

Ahh, thanks for the comment. This was just something I wanted to try, I've seen a few videos where real sounds were used. So I decided to try this out, and to just make a simple onboard vid with a few static cameras sure is boring in the long run so that's why I made that intro as a small presentation of the car that was about to be shown.

Sry for double posting again, but does anyone here know why the movie isn't available in HD yet? It's been a while now since it got uploaded there, and I used the same codec as before, no tweaks done. It made my vids in HD on youtube before but for this one it just won't do.

Oh btw, I updated the first post. The new version of the vid is there, no changes made, I just fixed the ending.

Sorry for double posting, but I'm just curious if you guys succeeded in viewing the downloadable version of the vid? I need to know if the latest version of VLC (for example) will fix this issue. If the problem still remains I will have to change codec for my future videos, so.. I need to know.

Try downloading the latest version of VLC and play the video in that. It seems to have solved the problem for a few others. If it doesn't help for you, the codec I'm using is ffdshow configured to use MPEG4/FVFW. I'm planning on using another codec in the future as it seems people are having problems playing vids rendered with this codec.
